ADVANTAGES

Powerfull

The BOW profits from three years of development by the Legaignoux brothers

- Speed: the BOW travels very quickly from one edge of the wind window to the other, without over-powering you.

- Maneuverability: the turns are as fast as on the best classic kites. The kiteloops are very easy to perform

- Jumps: their height is comparable, or even higher than that of a classic wing having the same aspect ratio. On the other hand the hang time is longer and the landings extremely soft.

Less Expense

With the BOW, kitesurfing becomes more accessible:

- The projected area/ developed area ratio is approximately 25% superior on a BOW. In other words, compared to a classic tube kite of the same size, the BOW has 25% more power

- Because of their huge wind range, you can save one kite in a quiver of 2 or 3 classic wings.
Your kite budget thus decreases by 50%!!!

Safety

- To remove power from the BOW, it is not necessary to open a quick release (QR) neither to push the bar nor to make any kind of handling, which requires being perfectly conscious, and in a position to do it, just let go of the bar.

- Then, to come back to a normal flight situation, there is no need to re-engage a QR with the wing on the water; you just have to grab the bar again, and to sheet in. You will be able to do it most of the time before the wing falls to the water.

If the wind suddenly increases, if you fall brutally and lose the visual control of your wing, if an obstacle suddenly appears, RELEASE THE BAR and everything will stop instantaneously.

100% De-Power

Easy to relaunch

The re-launch is always realised without needing to swim. Pull on one rear line or the other and your BOW is in the air. As it takes off, loosen the rear line; the BOW will come to the edge of the wind window without dragging you. Grab the bar and sheet-in when it is at the edge of the wind window. Your board will be with a few meters of you!

Friendly

- You will not have to struggle any more to go upwind to the beach or to swim towards your board.
- You can launch your wing alone according to methods specific to the BOW, without having to handle your wing nor folding it nor adding sand.
- You can land your wing alone while placing it in the edge of the wind window and pulling on one of the front lines (only in light winds).

Aesthetic

With its original shape, flatter and more aggressive, its simple bridling and “design”, we have no doubt that the BOW will become the reference in terms of style and looks.

Preparing the kite before inflation through the Extrados struts facing the ground? put some sand or your board and your harness on the leading edge

Inflating through Extrados, the kite stays there without the need for a leash, the fabric doesn't flutter, the bridles don't tangle, you do not have to turn your kite over after inflation

Training to take-off, learn how to take off the Bow kite in shallow water before going at sea, think of releasing the bar when the kite takes off

One of the beach take off methods CAUTION this way of taking off should only be practiced in light and moderated wind.

Method of taking off on the beach viewed from the rider

Kite front to the wind, Pull on one back line to rotate the kite ~ Slacken it then immediately pull on the opposite line

And... A small jump for the pleasure!
